My husband %26amp; I are going to Phi Phi Island Village Hotel for 4 nights in mid April this year. I have read on tripadvisor from various people that it is very very quiet at night at PPIV. We%26#39;re interested in a bit of nightlife like busy bars. Are they only in Ton Sai? It seems very tricky to get from PPIV to Ton Sai and BACK again late at night. Is it possible to arrange a longtail boat back from the pier at Ton Sai late at night? Is it possible to get to Ton Sai by arranging a long tail boat from someone in the local restaurants behind PPIV? Finally, is the walk to some nightlife very long? I appreciate any advice. Regards.
Getting to any nightlife from Phi Phi Island Village Hotel.hello, yes the busy bars are in Tonsai, you should be able to catch a longtail in at night and back, rememeber you may end up paying a bit more after dark though, You should be able to book any boat right from the beach. As for walking i wouldnt recommed it, there isnts an official path its hard enough during the daytime with a local so at night i wouldnt try.

I just got back, phi phi don is not a quiet place at night. Lots of bars at night- tiger bar, reggae bar (thai boxing), hippies bar (fire shows), they also celebrate full/half moon parties on the beach. They get through lots of drinking buckets on the island!!
