travel from phuket to koh samui

HI were going back to patong for the 5th time at xmas this year and i was wondering if it is possible to travel by taxi to koh samui from patong,i realise this would be a long journey

I think a flight from Phuket would be your best option - about 1 hour, but book early as they always book out.

As well as a taxi I think you need to catch a boat as well - all very long I think.

Ko Samui is wonderful - very expensive at Christmas so book early also for accommodation.

Chaweng Beach is the best place to stay.
