Hi there,

We%26#39;re back in Phuket for the third year in row and I really want to go to the Jim Thompson shop.

How far is it from Karon Beach? Should we do on the way back to the airport?

All thoughts welcome.

Hi Carinna, Its only about 15 kilometres (I think) from Karon Beach at Central Festival shopping centre, beautiful shops with some lovely handbags as well.

Jim Thompsons have a factory outlet store, the address is in the link I have pasted below.

It is in a group of shops not far from %26amp; on the way to Central Festival Centre from Karon Beach.

It had some lovely gifts at great prices %26amp; I bought up big on some silk for myself (300baht/metre) They had all the usual things, cushion covers, table cloths, hand bags etc.

Everything was of top quality, but from what I could gather, of last years design ( but didn%26#39;t look outdated)

I went to the Jim Thompson factory outlet at the Canal Shopping Complex at Bang Tao beach, lovely place.

There were like 4 shops belonging to Jim Thompson. The silk pants were really cheap.

Heres the link for the Jim Thompson shop in Central Festival, its on the 1st floor, theres also a list of all the other shops there as well. Very nice centre.

That%26#39;s strange. We were at Central Festival about 4 weeks ago now looking for Jim Thompson. We couldn%26#39;t find it at Central Festival. We were told it was a taxi ride down the road by the enquiries desk!

I remember it%26#39;s near to Starbucks at Central Festival.
