Pathumwan Princess or Novotel Siam Square

Hi all,

I am looking for a hotel in Siam Square area for the last few days of my stay in Bangkok in June.

Can%26#39;t really decide between Pathumwan Princess and Novotel Siam Square.

Since it%26#39;s the last few days, i am hoping that the hotel will be a great place for relaxation, entertainment (nice TV channels) and a good comfortable night%26#39;s sleep.

Any suggestions?

Pathumwan Princess or Novotel Siam Square

Both are fine hotels with attentive staff and well appointed rooms. If you have no plans to shop and are just looking to relax and sleep well, then I recommend Pathumwan Princess which has more spacious rooms and a nice lobby. Novotel Siam Square%26#39;s lobby is perpetually busy and street noise is discernible from rooms on its lower floors. Both hotels cater primarily to shoppers - if it is ONLY R%26amp;R you%26#39;re after, I prefer the hotels nearer the river such as Lebua, Banyan Tree and the Royal Orchid Sheraton. Of course, there are the Peninsula and the Oriental but I can%26#39;t afford their room rates.

We stayed at the PP in November and are returning in May. We found the service excellent as is the location. Take the lift to the 2nd floor and you have access to MBK, it was great! Breakfast at the PP was great with a good variety. Staff was always helpful and friendly. Bed were good so was the size of the rooms. We had a deluxe room.
