Phuket hotel advice nearest ferry to Phi Phi?

We are arriving in Phuket on 4:00PM, and our ultimate destination is Railey. I think we%26#39;re out of luck catching a ferry that late, so we%26#39;re trying to decide if we should stay near the airport, or nearest the fairy.

And... Since we will be flying out of Krabi to head home, are there any MUST SEES during our short stay in Phuket? I%26#39;m traveling with a child, so we%26#39;re not there for the night life.

I am in the exact same position as you, what did you end up doing? I am coming in at 4:30pm and want to head out the next day, thinking of staying near the ferry terminal, but which hotel?

Bhukitta Hotel is the nearest hotel from the pier(about 3 kilometers), There are some hotels in the same distance(3-4 kilometers from the pier) such as Royal Phuket City Hotel, Metropole Phuket Hotel, Pearl Hotel, Crytal Inn, Rattana Mansion, Thavon Grand Hotel, etc.

Crytal Inn, Rattana Mansion, Thavon Grand Hotel and Metropole Phuket Hotel are close to the shopping center.(Robinson and Ocean Plaza)

Rang Hill is one of the good place to see in Phuket town, and if that your staying day is Saturday or Sunday, I would suggest Weekend Market too.
