Ko Phangan: Cookies Salad

Hi there, We want to book at cookies salad. The only thing that is holding us back is the fact that variuos booking sites e.g. http://www.phangan.info/cookiessalad/

post that there is a construction nera by the resort.

Has anyone been there? And was this annoying?

We are going here after 2 weeks of Japan, so we need the relaxation! Thanks for sharing. Cheers. Zem22

What a pity because the Cookies Salad is a great place who has a very nice owners

we visited the Cookies because last year we staid at Salad Hut and wanted to know how the Cookies turned out. And in my opinion the construction does disturb, especially when you lay on the pool. And when you are really looking for relaxation... maybe take a look at salad hut or what about chao Phao beach? We had three great nights there at Blue Ocean Resort. The bungalows (2200B) are really big and have open bathroom, the beach is amazing, reminded me to the Maledives. It is so relaxing there, the Resort is in the middle of a wonderful green garden with two Thai Salas in the middle. The owner is italian and offers also great italian food. I went for thai food which was also very good!
