hi all

we are ariving on 1st of april and i was looking forward to a sun filled holiday, but going of the bbc world weather report it looks like rain, rain and more rain.

have i picked the wrong time of year to go.

How the BBC can predict weather 2 weeks ahead I don%26#39;t know, anyway April here in Pattaya can vary from day to day but you should still get plenty of sun, the odd overcast day and the odd rain shower but it will always be warm and a little humid, weather here at present as I look out of the window is sunny with a few clouds and hot, the last rain was a week ago.

I have been there in April- usually hot and humid even at night. look at the Bangkok post they give a good run down on the weather.

If your there around the 12th be prepared for Songkran (thai new year) as you will get very very wet, and not from the rain.

anyhow dispite what the weather is Thailand is a great place for a holiday

April is the hottest month of the year; there should be very little rain. Songkran in Pattaya starts on 19 April, unlike most of the country.

Nothing to worry about i went last april very hot take no notice of bbc i will be arriving on the 1st as well i will be praying for a bit of rain.

i cant remember the last time it did not rain on songkran, but over all it will be stinking hot with occasional thunder storms
