I am considering flying with this airline - any thoughts from experienced Air Asia travellers? Are they usually on time? Reliable? etc

They are OK. You get what you pay for; ideal for short flights if you don%26#39;t mind the mad scramble for seats at boarding. Reliability is so-so, one delay has a knock-on effect through to other flights.

I%26#39;ve flown them several times and thought they were quite good.

Flew Kuala Lumpur - Bangkok last week, our 8:30pm flight was delayed for 2 hours. Not sure what was the reason.

Bangkok - KL departure at 6pm, we were worried the same would happen, but it was on time.

I flew Airaisa a number of times, they are not always late but neither are they perfect. so you must be mentally prepared and allow time in your schedule.

We flew 6 different AirAsia flights last month. I found them good. We have 2 hour delay on one flight but most of the others actually arrived early. I%26#39;d definately use them again.
