flying to thailand for a few days. will my australian bank cards (savings cards - not credit/debit cards) work there? or should i organize travellers cheques? Note: i do not posses a credit card

jirikoo, yes your Aussie cards will work there, we always use ours (NAB %26amp; Westpac)just make sure your pin number is not over 4 digits.

Yes there are ATMs and efpos everywhere and all accepted my Australian debit cards and savings cards. Just ensure you call your bank first to double check your daily limits and also to advise them that transactions will be occuring in Thailand for a certain period of days.
