hiring a cab for a day

We are headed to Ko Samui in July and want to hire a cab for the day to explore the island. Is this an easy thing to do and what is the expected expense? Any advice would be greatly appreciated as well as where we should go while we have this driver.

Don`t bother. That website is blank.

I have made bookings with Samui Shuttle and have had no worries with their website:

Hi There,

Have you thought of hiring a motorbike? We have been twice to Ko Samui, and regret not doing it. Next time(?) we will be doing this.

It%26#39;s much easier %26amp; cheaper to just stop when you want.

Cheers,

Sandy

There is lots of companies in Samui who can rent you bike or car, they are everywhere, the cost is from 800 Bt to 2000 Bt depends on company and the car. The Hertz car rent is in airport, but they are obviously more expensive. White Wave Travel in South Chaweng opposite Poppies resort is a good one. But honestly, it%26#39;s really easy, so don%26#39;t worry too much about it. And driving around Samui is very easy, keep to the main ring road if you are not sure, or you may want go to different beaches which is easy too, just get yourself a map.

I second Elina. No use in paying for a cab on Samui for that length of time. Driving is not a big deal. But get a car or a jeep called Caribe. Something like that . Forgo the motorbike if possible.

please don%26#39;t feed the taxi meter drivers, you will only encourage them.

rent your own motorbikes or jeep, check out the south side of the island. get lost for a few minutes, you don%26#39;t need a map on samui it%26#39;s too small you will always find your way back.

The link works fine. Guess it was my computer that didn`t cooperated. Sorry.

Thank you everyone for your responses. We%26#39;re looking forward to our trip.
