Hi,

Here now on our seventh visit to Khao Lak. So far weather has been very good. A couple of days with a short thunderstorm around 16:30 which lasts about an hour or so. Hope everyone enjoys their stay. For those going to Bang Niang, a visit to Dao Thong and Takieng restaurants is highly recommended, and the bars across the road towards La On, particularly the one just before the bridge, great band and it stays open to 1 am!

Will be their from thursday but only in khoa lak from the 1st April. staying in the Ramanda

Nice to hear the weather is good!

I know football is huge in thailand will there be any bars showing the premiership? As the Derby is on next week as well as the champions League.

There are two bars not far from you that show the Premiership matches, Saturday, Sunday and midweek, including matches not televised in UK. You may also have the channel on your room TV. We did last year and year before in Le Meridien.

When you come from the Ramada to the road that takes you up to the main highway (comes out at the 711 Supermarket)turn right towards the highway and in about 200 metres on your left is the P%26amp;Y Bar, where you can watrch inside, and just opposite on the other siude of the road is a guesthouse with cocktails bar in front with TV you can watch outside. The two Thai lads who run it are footie fanatics, one Liverpool, one Man Utd. We had a great time watching the Reds beat the Reds last Sunday. Needles to say I%26#39;m a MU fan, so enjoyed it better!!!
