Tongsai Bay/ Amari Plam Reef

Hi

My boyfriend %26amp; I are going to be spending about 6 nights on Samui including 4 nights probably ';roughing'; it at beach bunglagow/liveabord while we do an open water course (based at Chaweng) so we thought we%26#39;d finish out trip with a bit of luxury. Think the 2 resorts above sound good but just wondered which of the above choices would be best? Tongsai Bay is a fair bit more expensive- is it worth it? And if so, which of the accomodation choices is best- we are thinking of cottage suite?

Tongsai Bay/ Amari Plam Reef

Both would suit - We stayed at the Amari in January this year and we are going back there again next week. A great resort with fantastic staff. The junior suites are very nice and perhaps you might be able to negotiate a special price on one of these - in my experience the Amari are very approachable. (email them direct) Whichever one you choose you won%26#39;t be disappointed.

If you like ';not-so-far from the nightlife'; area, then would be Amari Palm Reef. On the other hand, if you seek quite and private side of Samui with impeccable services, choose The Tongsai Bay. I would recommend their The Grand Villa - A room with a spectacular view !.

Thanks for your help, still not quite sure but might go for the amari as it%26#39;s almost 拢100 per night cheaper- and one of the nights we%26#39;re hoping to go to the full moon party so probably not worth the money.
