Silom @Trinity

Have just booked a couple of nights accommodation at the Trinity Hotel and was wondering if anyone has stayed there just recently, and was it ok? We agonised for ages before booking, and I thought the location was pretty good.

Any comments, good or bad would be gratefully received.

Trinity hotel is situated just off Silom Road in a complex called the Trinity complex. it has the hotel as mentioned and an apartment complex for long stay residents. literally outside the foyer is a vibrant clothing market, mainly for thais but still worth a look. there is also a supermarket called Villamarket which has most things.

you are 10 mins from Patpong and a 3/4 minute walk from the nearest skytrain station called ChongNongSi.

there are plenty of decent restaurants close by and watering holes aswell.

i can%26#39;t comment on the hotel itself as i have never stayed there or known anybody that has.

there are a number of reviews of this hotel on the TripAdvisor hotel review section for bangkok. they are quite mixed. it was rated #134th best out of 358 hotels in bangkok.

Thanks for the info Bkk3. Yes, the reviews are mixed, so I guess we%26#39;ll just see how it goes. We will be out all day anyway,and it is in a good location. Worth a try!!!
