Can anyone tell me what Gulf air is like last time i flew to Thailand i flew with Thai airways was ok but had not inseat tv so very boring journey can anyone tell me if they have the inseat tvs im am flying economy restricted and are the staff friendly as i am only 18 and have never flew on my own and also a bit scared of flying so i might need someone to hold my hand lol!

GF is much improved, they have excellent new planes with good inflight entertainment and their food is the best !

We flew from Frankfurt via Bahrain to Thailand with Gulf Air. From Europe to Bahrain and back from Bahrain to Frankfurt, the flight was excellent - good service, plenty of leg space, food was pretty decent, individual tv screens on each seat and the airline was very punctual and professional.
Did not enjoy the connecting flight from Bahrain to Bangkok. The aircraft was an A340 with cramped seating space and no individual TV screens, service was also worse. (compared to our flight to and from Europe).
Overall, had a positive impression of Gulf Air and thought the service was good for the price we paid.
