The weather looks quite bad in Samui on the weather forecast. a lot of rain. I am touching down in Samui in 2 weeks time. What is the weather like in Samui at present?

weather in April is hot and humid. but if you are there for Songkran ( Thai New Year 12th/13th April ) you wont care anyway as you will be drenched by the massive water fights that clebrate Thai new year.

It Can rain at any time of day and at any day of any month in Samui ( its tropical) usually though it rains for an hour and then the sun comes out again. It will be warm and humid whatever happens

SD1, another couple of questions, we arrive in Bangkok on the 13th for 3 days. During this celebration are shopping areas markets opened or is everything on shut down. We really want to visit Patpong market and MBK mall..

Where is the best place in Bangkok to witness Songkran.

We are visiting the Tiger Temple on the 15th April I guess it is opened as we have not been told otherwise by Tong. .

I wouldn%26#39;t count on good weather.Thailand was great but we came back 2 weeks ago and had rain for 2 weeks.Plus it had been raining for 2 weeks before that.I booked that time of year as it was ment to be the best.The locals said it was the worst wather they had had at this time of year for the past 10 years.I guess you can never tell what its going to be like.Was still hot though.We had a great time would go back.

The weather at the moment,which was I believe your question)is very hot,and very sunny.Our swimming pool is like warm soup!!
