hey joe, depending on which resort you are staying at in the laguna ';complex'; most have the usual in house resort activities such as: pool games, batik painting, the adventure course at laguna beach resort,boat rides,sailing,kayaking,scuba lessons ect ect. We liked tom yung goong which was a thai restaurant located on the beach outside of the laguna beach resort, extremely cheap prices for excellent food and drinks.The village bakery was good value with yummy sandwiches and pizzas- located in the canal village which is central to all resorts in the complex and also has a range of shops, a money exchange and atm. Albatross cafe/restaurant also in canal village, was also lovely but pricey compared to most others, fab steak and seafood though.Best way to patong is by taxi, the trip was about 30 min. hope this helps, anything else, Im only too happy to help...liz

Hello,

I also liked Tom Yum Goong on the beach we ate there about 5 nights out of 7. The lotus restaurant up the beach to your right facing the sea is also good and they will send a car to pick you up.
