I have booked accom to stay at the resort Let us Sea in Hua Hin and just found out they have construction at the resort - I am wondering how bad it is and if any one thiks I should stay there or look for somewhere else - if so suggestions??

Unfortuneately the hotel is in a nice new area for development, so there is plenty of building going on all round. Not too bad from inside your hotel area though.

Nice hotel and restaurant though. So, why not book your first couple of nights and see how you like it and then decide whether to stay longer?

Thank you heaps... we think we will stay 3 nights at a different resort a little out of town and then 3 nights at the let us sea

We may go down this or next weekend in which case we will have a look as we often have a meal there.

A l;ovely place just next(past) Let%26#39;s Sea is the Wora Bura which is an amazing beach resort, very 1920%26#39;s stylish design and lovely rooms, but I suppose if there is construction it could effect.

Where did you find that construction information, I know there was a lot in the area, will let you know if we go down.

Hi

that%26#39;s of kind of you to cehck it out for us! Thank you!! I actually found out becuase I emailed the resort to confirm our booking and they told me directly which I thought was nice of them.... we are staying at the Let us sea resort for 3 nights and the AKA resort. See the Alila has opened there - keen to see what that one is like as well - the ones in Bali are lovely!!

Hi, just wondering... what the resort had to say about the on-going construction?

They were no particularly helpful - just said it%26#39;s on going and they will try and give us a quiet room - they said it is between 9-5pm each day we figure we will b out and about during this time anyway... it still looks a lovely resort...

My wife and I have just stayed in Let鈥檚 Sea Hua Hin from 27 Feb 08 to 5 Mar 08. Our stay was wonderful and magnificent.

We have actually tried both studio pier and moon deck rooms and we like studio pier more, especially the private pier and the bathroom with lovely courtyard.

The hotel is overall very comfortable, warm, quiet and equipped with a luxury pool (I think about 100m in total length). Meanwhile it is also hip, very well and carefully designed. If you have the ability to appreciate design glory, it is an ideal place to relax, sleep, swim and eat. The food in the restaurant is also great and in reasonable price.

All staff we met were kind, well trained and nice.

Although there was construction at the site adjacent to Let鈥檚 Sea, we do not notice much during our stay in studio pier. We heard a bit in the moon deck but we don鈥檛 think that鈥檚 much problem or nuisance.
