can you reccomend a place to stay at Ko Phangan?

We are going to Ko Phangan next month. I would really appreciate any advice on which beach and some reccomended accomodation. I haveao thong nai pan noi is really nice, has anyone stayed there recently?

I recommend to you the Thong Tapan Noi. It%26#39;s very nice place in front of de sea and also, there are a lot of vegetation. The bungalows are not expensive.

Now ! It%26#39;s better than Star Hut (too much charged)

Steve, can you tell me about the location of the Mandalai ? It does not seem clear whether on the beach or not. It seems the sort of place we would like but concerned abiout location, so your local knowledge would be appreciated

I stayed at thong nai pain at the baan panburi in march 2006 and it was stunning. I paid 900B per night for a bungalow in the second row from the beach. the food there was amazing.

They have done renovations since I went and so it is more upscale now, not sure what it is like but you can google it.

Beautiful beach, not much to do except eat, sleep, swim and get massages. Just perfect.

I also stayed on the other beach in 2000 at a pace called candle Huts. NOt sure if that is there anymore.

PS The taxi there takes a while and you will normally have to wait until there is at least 4 in the truck until they take you. Quite an exhilarating ride mind you!

In fact, this resort is situated in front of the sea, on the pier on Chaloklum. It%26#39;s a nice place for honeymoon or for a couple they would like to celebrate something.

There are also a lounge and restaurant next door.

For swimming, this is better if you are going to the right side, just at 300 meters.

You%26#39;ve also, a beautiful beach in Haad Khom. It%26#39;s easy now to go there.
