Hi there,
I have a couple of questions regarding the weather in Bangkok... I%26#39;m considering traveling in July and I%26#39;m hearing differing reports of the weather.
Is Bangkok extremely rainy during this time and is it really hot? I%26#39;m worried about going all that way to have the vacation rained out or be too hot to enjoy the time there.
Thanks so much!
Weather
Temperatures will be around 35C or more with high humidity. It is rainy season but it won%26#39;t rain longer than an hour or so in July, every 2-3 days. Of course it can vary.
Weather
Thank you for your response. So with humidity, how hot does it generally get. Would you say it is too hot to enjoy a trip?
Thanks again!
as other tourists do, they enjoy hot and humidity with shorts and tongs

The rainy season is Sept and Oct. Temperaures in Thailand (the highs) are mostly in the low to mid 90%26#39;s Farenheit. Hotter than your probably used to in Denver. Just bring light clothing. Shorts and sandles are ok for beach areas, trekking, etc, and many do wear them during day even in Bangkok. At night and when touring some long pants, light material, light tops, no bare arms in temples or Grand Palace. Som comfportable walking shoes. There is air conditioning everywhere you might go, transportation, hotels, malls, most enclosed (not open air) restaurants. Otherwise limit your wandering to mornings and evenings. Relax in pool or air conditioning during day if your not comfortable. I%26#39;m from Utah and I don%26#39;t have any problem with the humidity and heat in Bangkok or most of the country really. If your going t obe in Bangkok, get hotel near BTS skytrain or MRT (subway). Airconditioned and easy and cheap way t oget around. beats traffic. Here%26#39;s some sites with maps and weather for you.
