KUL to BKK by land

Hi everyone!

Can anyone tell me what would be the fastest way to get from Kuala Lumpur to Bangkok by land?

Not really into the stops as pressed for time, but would like to see BKK at least for the weekend from KL.

Any help you can extend will be highly appreciated.

The bus depart every evening from Pudu raya (kL )to Hatyai(Thailand) around 9.30pm

There are many company operating this Kl -Hatyai route.

Buy ticket from Authorised counter inside the bus terminal .

Do not buy from Tout operating outside the terminal,you might be conned.

There is no direct bus from KL to BKK.

You need to connect from Hatyai to BKK

KUL to BKK by land

Travelling overland through Yala, Pattani, and Narathiwas provinces is dangerous. Check the Thai press to see why.

Air Asia should have very cheap flights! Fly - save your time and less hassle.

we are flying KUL to BKK this weekend for less than 100USD each on Air Asia. they really do a great job for the price. About 6 flights a day.

there is a sleeper train, actually 2 since you have to change around Hat Yai, but it takes 2 1/2 days.
