alcoholic drinks in phuket
Yes, wine is very expensive in Thailand. If you like something a bit sweet, try %26#39;Spy Wine Cooler%26#39;. I like the red one best, it%26#39;s like lolly drink hahaha

Jacob%26#39;s Creek Chardonnay is one of the staples in Phuket and seems to have come down in price a bit, it%26#39;s around 550-600 baht. If you%26#39;d like some very nice Chilean Sauvignon Blanc and you%26#39;re passing the Royal Phuket Marina, drop into Les Anges Patisserie and pick up a few bottles of their wines, which they sell takeaway for 700 baht. The red wine - also VERY nice, is 900 baht from memory.
I recently tried a new wine that the supermarket at Boat Lagoon sells called Outback something...Ridge??? It is very drinkable and is around 500 baht per bottle.
The wine selections are getting better, which means there are more choices under the 1,000 baht mark now.
Just put as many bottles as you can into your suitcase to take over with you. I can usually get around 5 or 6 bottles between my hubby and my suitcases.
