Baan Lanta - has anyone stayed there recently?

We%26#39;re heading off to Ko Lanta in March/April and after 6 days at Rawi Warin with friends, we have another 6 nights on the island by ourselves.

We%26#39;ll be ready for slow paced chilling time at this point.

Reviews of Baan Lanta on another website were quite positive and the fact it was a quiet beach and not overly promoted on the major travel websites seemed appealing.

However, comments regarding noise from the bar plus changing booked rooms because a better rate could be secured worries me!

Has anyone stayed there recently and if so what is the experience?

PS We would love to stay at the Pimalai but it is too rich for our blood! (and our Aussie dollar)

I just be back from Ko Lanta and founded one place by accident name LaLaanta Hideaway Resort. It is new resort just open for 2 months. If you like quite and chill atmosphere here is recommended. The price is consider cheap compare with their standard offered. Lovely stylish bungalows, two pools, beach dinning and the most important is very beautiful beach . I and my wife very love here and we will keep returning as must as we can.
