Need advice! We are 2 girls traveling to Bangkok and then Koh Samui in late April. We want to stay somewhere nice (but not too expensive) but also want to be near the action (shopping, nightlife, restaurants etc) so we don%26#39;t sit around the hotel and stare at each other. We love spas, beach and pools too. Is there a perfect place? Any suggestions?

If you check out a site called sawadee.com it will give you all the info on all the resorts in Thailand. When in Samui, Chaweng Beach is where the action is. Check out Alls Resort and head to the Ark Bar on Wednesday for their 2pm to 2am party with free bbq at 4pm (a great way to save a few bhatt).

Chaweng, there are many inexpensive and secure hotels there. The website he gave you is really good. Also try asiarooms.com. they sometimes beat sawasadee.com prices.
