Honeymoon Thailand - weather late July onwards - very urgent

Hi Guys

I am looking at visiting Thailand in late July for my honeymoon. A few very important questions:

1. In late July(10 day visit) is it Monsoon season? I dont fancy my honeymoon spoilt by the rain.

2. I want to go to Bangkok and another beach resort. Which resort is best (Phuket, Koh Samui)? Which are other beach resorts would you recommend and why?

3. If I dont go Thailand, I am not sure where else I could go for my Honeymoon. Suggestions please?

Maybe Malaysis, Dubai? Not sure....

Can you please help ASAP?

Thanks

DP

Honeymoon Thailand - weather late July onwards - very urgent

Hallo,

actually I thought July is not too bad for visiting Thailand. For sure, November is really bad for Koh Samui. In fact, I always cheries the rain (normally easy come easy go) because it really a relieve after such a humidity in Thailand!

Phuket or Koh Samui, it depends on which beach. You can also try Koh Lanta and Koh Phi Phi (Phi Phi has a superb topaz water...)

Ah, honeymoon... what about Bali? I always love this little island and happy to give you some tips :) you can also pm me, both thailand and bali has soooo many wonderful places!

The rainy season at July shouldn%26#39;t be too bad. An hours rain each day, give or take.

Thanks for your emails...

Just spoke to a Travel agency and they said Bangkok should be fine and the East Coast for Koh Samui is rain free at that time.

How many days should I spend in Bangkok and Koh Samui?

I was looking for a 10 day trip in total...

Thanks again

I would say that since you are on your honeymoon - perhaps 6 days in the more tranquil setting of Koh Samui and last 4 days in BKK doing the sights and shopping.

10 day trip in total, is that including your flight? agree with at least 3 days in Bangkok. The rest I would spend it in Koh Samui. Personally, I would like more than 10 days...

I would also say a few days in Bangkok and the Koh Samui, the weather should be fine Koh Samui area, there are some very nice Koh Samui Honeymoon hotels and you can find romantic style places on the beach.

Another time of year it could be suggested perhaps a stopover on the way say in Dubai, trouble is it would be %26#39;very hot%26#39; in July. So I think a few days shopping, restaurants etc in Bangkok and then relax on Samui.
