Songkran

Hi everyone,

We are due to arrive BKK on 18th Apr for 4 days and then onto Pattaya for 8 days. Will we be affected by Songkran or will it all be over when we get there ?

It runs from the 13th to the 15th, in Pattaya there%26#39;s a tendency for it to run over by a day or 3. Either way, IMO you%26#39;ll miss it.

Pattaya celebrates a week later than most of Thailand, starting on about 19th April, so you should just miss it.

Thanks very much for the info......... after reading posts on this formum dont know whether to feel sad or glad that we are going to miss it.
