Ok,two questions in one ! Where is a nice ( 2-3 ) star , or maybe 4 in Bangkok that will not break my wallet ? will be staying appox 3-4 nights, and the go go bars , safe to go to ? or where could one find a normal girl(s) to spend time with . And I heard some hotels charge for a ';guest ';

great place is the majestic suites ,top hotel and in the thick of the actio near nana plaza but still quiet to have a good nights sleep or day when you get in.Also guest friendly

Here is another vote for Majestic suite on Sukhumvit

road. I already booked a single superior room in the

M.S. for up coming spring 2008 trip in Bangkok.

It shall be the third time I stay in MS. since 2007.

I tried to look for other hotel for a change when I was in BKK . However, I still think the M.S. giving me the best deal all around. And here is the kicker,

the manager always invites me a welcome to BKK drink upon check in this Majestic suites.

hi tratquyen1 im there in 4 weeks and cant wait third time at this hotel and like wise found this hotel hard to beat.Counting down the days im treating myself this time and booked a deluxe for a change

MS is good 3-star, around US$45/day with tiny restaurant but breakfast included, great staff, clean comfortable rooms and electronic safe. No pool or gym. About 1 minute walk to Soi 4 (Nana) for nightlife there, but nightlife all around. Soi Cowboy about 5 minutes away. Hotel absolutely guest frindly. Alternative is a 4-star called Majestic Grande, very nice at about US$95/nt, very nice, beautiful rooms, very guest friendly, very quiet, and about 1-2 minutes walk from same nightlife area. Both are excellent choices.

Go-go%26#39;s are absolutely safe. Just don%26#39;t be stupid. Those in NANA (Nana Entertainment Plaza -- about 40) and those in Soi Cowboy (maybe 30 0r so) can be generally trusted to not cheat you or pad your bill. That is not true of much of PatPong on other side of town.

there are also beer bars, sports bars, massage businesses in area that are fun. Across from NANA (NEP) is the Nana Hotel which has a 24-hour restaurant which serves good food at a good prioe also.

Yes, the deluxe suite is too good and a taste of luxury there. I am with you , counting eveyday for heading LAX . The side benefit of holiday/vacation trip in Bangkok is sure make me more productive and

Normal girls?? you have got 3-4 nights NOT to live a normal life! For a bit of fun though on one of your nights, station yourself on the entrance to Nana plaza at about 2am, the place shuts about then and you will witness one of the great sights in the natural world, the exit of the bar girls and ladyboys from Nana plaza! Enjoy.

My recommendation for a good travel agency is A+F tour travels located on Silom road. I have used this company for many years now and i have yet to find fault either in the quality of service that they provide OR their prices.

The Best people watching bar in Bangkok must be Nana

hotel parking. I was there the first time and it was a culture shock . The whole street is Nothing in this world come close , you can have a Live Issan music band playing on the street, an elephant eating bananas feed by tourist and the outstanding food stalls alond the side walks. That is the real part keep me coming back to this Sukhumvit area just to live a Dream life Bangkok
